    Description

    The Operations Engineer, Data Movement & Integration works in data movement and integration DevOps team, operate the data movement required data engineering and integration development solutions, applying the best practise on AWS cloud operations, using fit-for-purpose technical services, with sufficient security, scalability and high performance. He/She works with operations lead and development team, ensure we have the operatable solutions based on the KONE data foundation target architecture.

    Main responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations (L2 and L3) and user request, ensure we provide the fast resolution with stakeholder satisfaction
  • Create and maintain the knowledge article, aim to provide self-service for end users as much as possible
  • Collaborate closely with development team and provide the solution feedback to development team for solution continuous improvement
  • Potentially also rotate the role to the development side
  • Commit to the data movement and integration team quarterly planning, work as part of DevOps team end to end. Involve proactively into the development cycle to ensure the solution is design to operate, fulfill the operations requirement
  • Proactively identify and collaborate with data source team and data consumer team from service end to end point of view, ensure sufficient knowledge obtained through the operations, knows our production services fully
  • Manage the effective communication, discussion and relationship with IT solution & business stakeholders, aligning to business priorities and KONE benefit, with positive spirit
  • Identify and mitigate the risk can impact the operations, challenge the status-quo with solution oriented mindset in the responsible area
  • Responsible for following KONE data compliance and cybersecurity guidelines
  • Travel on site to meet global function's stakeholders whenever needed
  • Requirements for the role

  • Min 3-5 years technical hands on experience: AWS S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, AWS API gateway, MSK and DevOps tooling (Github actions, Azure DevOps), have independent working experience and readiness to start to work on above mentioned mandatory skillset.
  • Able to maintain, develop DB's, object creation, schema creation, optimization of DB's, Pipeline development & enhancement including monitoring and automations.
  • Have experience on monitoring skills: Splunk, Cloud Watch
  • Good to have knowledge/experience: Python, Kinesis, Athena, Glue, IAM, Security Hubs, SNS & SQS
  • Able to work individually and/or in cross function teams, with excellent emotional intelligence skills
  • Excellent team player, able to take/give feedback directly and improve ways of working & collaboration towards positive direction
  • Hands on experience in working in Agile and/or DevOps team. Scrum Master role experience is appreciated
  • Deep interests and motivation to learn new technologies related to data movement and integration on AWS and API, understand the KONE business context and IT context of data and data product
  • Content understanding of major enterprise applications, such as SAP, Qlik SaaS, Salesforce, Workday, etc
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English, able to present content with clarity concisely
