Job Description:

• Testing of Electrical & Mechanical test equipments
• Responsible for all testing and technical requirements
• Maintaining observation sheets and generating test reports
• Evaluation of measurement uncertainty
• Assist Quality Manager/ Lab In-charge to maintain the technical records related to ISO/IEC 17025
• Maintain and control of quality records
• Maintain Replicate, Retain, Intermediate, Calibration plans and records
• Review of requests, service providers & suppliers
• Handling of risk analysis process
• Complaints and non-conformance handling
• Evaluating the effectiveness of implemented corrective actions
• NABL & Internal Audits handling
• Maintenance of equipment and traceability
• Extending technical information and training to the junior staff and identification of training needs
• Monitoring the reference standard publication and technical literatures
• Halting of work, restart of work if required and implementation of corrective actions for any non-conformities
• Create / review of standard operating procedures
• Identifying & resolving risks involved in the testing activity
• Identifying needs for training in accordance with competency requirements
• Review of customer requests, tenders and contracts
• Maintain and control technical records pertaining to quality system
• Involvement in Identifying & resolving risks involved in the Calibration activity

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of engineering in EEE/ECE/MECH/E&I or Diploma or ITI or Equivalent

Experience:

• Same/similar field of testing experience (Engg-2 to 3 years) or Diploma(3 to 5 years) or ITI/Equivalent (10 years) is mandatory.
• It is necessary have a good understanding of laboratory standards ISO/IEC:17025, IS and IEC standards.
• Candidate should have good experience in in testing of HV, AC DC test machine, Impulse test machine, EFT & Surge, Meter test bench, Water Test bench, Environmental Chamber, Vibration Test Machine, Shock Test Machine, Dust Chamber, Glow Wire Apparatus, AC source, DC source, Auto transformers, Multimeters, Data loggers, Meters etc.
• Exposure to EMI/EMC testing, HV, IR, Impulse, Meter test bench and safety testing equipments.
• Good understanding of power electronic equipments & circuits and analog and digital circuits.
• Good command to MS office packages.
