Role & responsibilities


Team Leadership:
Lead and manage the maintenance team, including technicians, janitors, and other support staff.
Set clear performance expectations, provide training, and conduct regular performance reviews.

Preventive Maintenance:
Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to ensure all equipment and systems are in optimal condition.
Create schedules for routine inspections and maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and disruptions.

Repairs and Troubleshooting:
Address and resolve equipment breakdowns and facility-related issues promptly to ensure minimal disruption to restaurant operations.
Coordinate and supervise repairs by in-house or external contractors as necessary.

Budget Management:
Manage the maintenance budget, monitor expenses, and make cost-effective decisions.
Obtain competitive bids for repair and maintenance projects and negotiate contracts with vendors.

Compliance and Safety:
Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Implement safety protocols and train staff on safety procedures to maintain a secure and hazard-free environment.

Inventory and Supplies:
Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and supplies to support timely repairs and maintenance tasks.
Manage inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed.

Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, expenses, and equipment service histories.
Prepare regular reports for management on the status of maintenance operations.
