Job Summary
Bajo Foods is looking for a Business Development Senior Manager who can strategize and
execute expansion of our product line into the HORECA (Hotels, Restaurant and Catering) and
Frozen Food Manufacturers.
The candidate will be responsible for building business of our products that cater to the B2B
segment - Protein Mix for Flours, Fibre Mix for Flours and High Protein Breads and Indian
Breads.
Principal Accountability
● Building the right marketing material with the Brand team & vertical Head for driving
sales in the segment.
● Identify the right business partners in the following segments:
○ Large format HORECA players.
○ Frozen Indian Breads manufacturers (Roti, Paratha, Naan etc)
○ Indian Breads and Food product exporters
● Reaching out and pitching our product lines to their business teams on the ease and
market for High Protein and High Fibre products from their portfolio.
● Working with their R&D teams to solution out how these products can be launched in
their menu.
● Helping in Planning and driving activations at relevant Food Exhibitions.
● Responsible for collections and maintaining minimal credit outstanding
● Owning and hitting/ exceeding sales targets
● Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates with:
○ 8+ years of overall Sales Experience.
○ 5+ years of HORECA industry specific sales experience is mandatory. Experience
in Institution / Corporate sales is a plus.
○ Experience with large Food companies and Export oriented corporates is a plus.
○ Experience in working with large HORECA and Food players is mandatory.
○ Experience in working with the R&D teams to develop products is mandatory.
○ Demonstrated success over the years in their jobs.
Preference will be given to candidates who have:
○ Experience in Health Foods products.
○ Experience in a Startup
○ Based in Bangalore city.
