    Weare looking for a Network Support Engineer at our NOC to provideenterpriselevel assistance to our customers. You will diagnose andtroubleshoot software and hardware problems and help our customersinstall applications and programs delivered Network &Security WANsolutions.

    NetworkSupport Engineer responsibilities include resolving network issuesconfiguring operating systems and using remote desktop connectionsto provide immediate support. You will use email and chatapplications to give clients quick answers to simple IT issues. Formore complex problems that require nuanced instruction you willcontact clients via phone and/or provide clear written instructionsand technicalmanuals.

    Ultimatelyyou will be a person our customers trust. They will rely on you toprovide timely and accurate solutions to their technicalproblems.
    Responsibilities:
    • Researchand identify solutions to software and hardwareissues
    • Diagnoseand troubleshoot technical issues including account setup andnetworkconfiguration
    • Askcustomers targeted questions to understand the root of the problemquickly
    • Trackcomputer system issues through to resolution within agreed timelimits
    • Talkclients through a series of actions either via phone email or chatuntil they ve solved a technicalissue
    • Properlyescalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams as perSLA
    • Provideprompt and accurate feedback tocustomers
    • Referto internal database or external resources to provide accurate techsolutions
    • Ensureall issues are properlylogged
    • Prioritizeand manage several open issues at onetime
    • Followup with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functionalaftertroubleshooting
    • Prepareaccurate and timelyreports
    • Documenttechnical knowledge in the form of notes andmanuals
    • Maintainjovial relationships withclients
    • Configureand install various network devices and services (e.g. routersswitches firewalls load balancers VPNQoS)
    • Performnetwork maintenance and system upgrades including service packspatches hot fixes and securityconfigurations
    • Monitorperformance and ensure system availability andreliability
    • Monitorsystem resource utilization trending and capacityplanning
    • ProvideLevel2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolveissues
    • Workwithin established configuration and change management policies toensure awareness approval and success of changes made to thenetworkinfrastructure
    • Selectand implement security tools policies and procedures in conjunctionwith the company s securityteam
    • Liaisewith vendors and other IT personnel for problemresolution


    Requirements


    TechnicalSkills:
    • Provenhandson network engineering and customer supportexperience
    • Abilityto diagnose and troubleshoot basic technicalissues
    • Familiaritywith remote desktop applications and help desk software like ( ZohoZendesk orsimilar)
    • Abilityto provide stepbystep technical help both written andverbal
    • Deepunderstanding of networking protocols (e.g. IPSEC HSRP BGP OSPF802.11QoS)
    • Supportin Routing Switching IP Protocol VLAN LAN WAN MPLS ILLBroadband4G/5G.technical & nontechnicalwork
    • Solidunderstanding of the OSI or TCP/IPmodel
    • Handsonexperience with monitoring network diagnostic and network analyticstools
    • Provenwork experience as a Technical Support Engineer Desktop SupportEngineer IT Help Desk Technician or similarrole
    BehaviouralSkills:
    • Technicaleducational backgroundGraduation
    • Provenworking experience as a networkengineer.
    • Excellentclientfacing problem Solving and internal communicationSkills
    • Excellentwritten and verbal communicationskills
    • Solidorganizational skills including attention to detail andmultitaskingskills

    Qualifications:Graduates/ Postgraduates from IT backgroundpreferred

    Experience:0 to 3Years

    Certification:must have CCNA certified.SDWAN certification is optional &added advantages CCNA Trained can applytoo.
