Performance Test Engineer - Pune, India - Mphasis

Description

We are hiring a Performance Testing Engineer with strong Jmeter experience.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze business requirements to determine performance testing needs.
• Evaluate service level agreements (SLAs) and define performance testing objectives accordingly.
• Develop, implement, and maintain performance test scripts tailored to project requirements.
• Identify and define testing parameters for load, stress, and endurance testing scenarios.
• Execute performance tests using JMeter tool to assess system performance and scalability.
• Analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot performance issues and propose solutions.
• Generate comprehensive performance testing reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of overall experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience specifically in performance testing.
• Proficiency in API testing tools such as POSTMAN and Swagger.
• Extensive experience with JMeter for performance testing of web applications, APIs, and services.
• Strong automation skills and proficiency in scripting languages like BeanShell and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly Azure.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
