We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Sox Testing Specialist to join our consulting team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance requirements and have experience in conducting Sox testing for various clients across different industries. This role requires a high level of accuracy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with both internal teams and client stakeholders.

Job responsibility

Conducting ITGC and SOX audits for various sectors, where the scope included developing test procedures, design assessment, and assessment of operating effectiveness.

Work with clients to identify risks related to business processes, systems, and related controls.

Conducting assessments to evaluate whether the control environment adequately mitigates the identified risk.

Provide support in information security management system (ISMS) assessments by testing the controls and providing recommendations for the observed risks and communicating with the clients. Ability to multitask Handled multiple projects simultaneously and producing satisfiable outcomes.

Working with executive management to appropriately address audit findings and developing a tracking system to ensure management action plans are implemented and risks are mitigated appropriately .

Minimum of 1 year of work experience in public accounting and/or industry dealing with SOX Key Control testing (Big 4 experience highly desired).

Basic understanding of professional audit standards, COSO, SOX, and risk assessment practices.
