    Description

    Role & responsibilities

    • Develops and manages sales pipelines with prospective clients.
    • Lead outbound sales activities with existing and potential clients.
    • Own the sales process from initial lead identification through final sales closing.
    • Present demos and pitch solutions during in-person visits and follow up after meetings.
    • Review sales leads and view key sales information on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
    • Generate monthly reports on sales activities and forecast sales goals.
    • Ensure meeting or exceeding sales objectives and budgets.
    • Build and ensure strong customer relationships.

    Preferred candidate profile

    • Demonstrable sales experience in the chemicals industry.
    • Multiple product application experience (Pharmaceutical API & Ingredients, Food & Personal Care Ingredients, Oleochemical Esters & Fine Chemicals) will be preferred.
    • Familiar with GMP, FDA, FSSAI, RSPO certifications among others.
    • Demonstrable negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
    • Demonstrable ability to organize, plan and possess the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
    • Comfortable with digital platforms and tools.
    • Willing to travel extensively.
    • Bachelors/Masters in science and master's in business administration candidates will be considered.
    • Proactive in offering inputs and contributing to new ideas of marketing, identifying new markets , suggesting marketing strategies.
