- Develops and manages sales pipelines with prospective clients.
- Lead outbound sales activities with existing and potential clients.
- Own the sales process from initial lead identification through final sales closing.
- Present demos and pitch solutions during in-person visits and follow up after meetings.
- Review sales leads and view key sales information on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Generate monthly reports on sales activities and forecast sales goals.
- Ensure meeting or exceeding sales objectives and budgets.
- Build and ensure strong customer relationships.
- Demonstrable sales experience in the chemicals industry.
- Multiple product application experience (Pharmaceutical API & Ingredients, Food & Personal Care Ingredients, Oleochemical Esters & Fine Chemicals) will be preferred.
- Familiar with GMP, FDA, FSSAI, RSPO certifications among others.
- Demonstrable negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
- Demonstrable ability to organize, plan and possess the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Comfortable with digital platforms and tools.
- Willing to travel extensively.
- Bachelors/Masters in science and master's in business administration candidates will be considered.
- Proactive in offering inputs and contributing to new ideas of marketing, identifying new markets , suggesting marketing strategies.
