    AboutRole & ProgramOverview

    Peepul is in partnershipwith the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) through a multiyearschool transformation program to holistically improve the systemtowards highquality education in 1533 primary schools of MCD. Theprogram aims to envision and create a student learningfocusededucation ecosystem with highperforming teachers a conduciveenvironment for learning and strong mentoring ecosystem. To achievethe vision for MCD we focus on 3things:

    • Timely TeacherUpskilling: Creating a culture of Highperformance
    • Academic Mentoring: UpskillingMentor Teachers and School Leaders as InstructionalLeaders
    • Incentives and accountability: Data forGovernance2

    The programme isenvisaged to have a joint Programme Management Unit between MCD andPeepul. This flagship program will also serve as an exemplar ofeducation system transformation in the municipalities in thecountry.

    The Programme Manager atPeepul is purposedriven rolemodelling the organisations valuesthrough active sharing and inclusivity. As impactoriented teammanagers they lead significant program components maintaining highoutput quality and effectively allocating tasks.     Responsibilitieswould include (including but not limitedto):

    • StrategicLeadership and ProgrammeManagement:
      • Oversee planningimplementation and monitoring to ensure impactfulresults.
      • Collaborate with the EducationDirector and programme leadership to set program priorities anddrive programme and organizational growth Partnership andStakeholder Engagement:
      • Build strongrelationships with government officials and education stakeholdersin Delhi.
      • Represent Peepul in highlevelmeetings and conferences related to educationreform.
      • Foster collaborations with otherorganisations and institutions for programimplementation.
    • TrainingContent Design and Delivery:
      • Leadthe development and delivery of highquality training content forthe Delhi Program catering to teachers school leaders and educationofficials.
      • Oversee the endtoend instructionaldesign of blended training content including the creation ofengaging digital learning resources.
      • Establishstandards for content design and implement processes to measure theimpact of the trainings.
      • Identify and curateexcellent training content from various sources building arepository of professional developmentresources.
      • Foster productive collaborationswith knowledge partners across the state to enhance trainingcontent.
    • TeamManagement and Development:
      • Leadand manage a highperforming team promoting innovation andcontinuous learning.
      • Set performanceexpectations provide feedback and support professional developmentand foster a positive and inclusive work environment for employeeengagement andwellbeing.
    • PolicyShaping and ThoughtLeadership:
      • Engage withgovernment authorities to support education policyreforms.
      • Stay updated on national andinternational trends and bestpractices.
      • Contribute to sharing successes andresearch findings through publications andconferences.

    Qualificationsand Role Requirements:

    • EducationalBackground: A relevant educational background ineducation social sciences development studies or relateddisciplines is highlypreferred.
    • Work Experience:We value both professional and personal experience.Candidates with 810 years of experience designing and deliveringcapacitybuilding interventions in the education sector preferablyin school settings. Additionally experience working with governmententities and familiarity with the Indian education system arehighly desirable.
    • OtherSkills: Excellent project management skills with theability to oversee endto end training content development anddelivery.
    • LanguageProficiency: English andHindi
