    Purpose of the Role: The Chief Financial Officer, being a part of the Leadership team and also Head the Finance and Accounts team, will actively direct and oversee the financial activities of the Company. The role would direct the preparation of financial reports and summaries as required by the authorities, and create forecasts predicting future growth. The role involves development of a financial and operational strategy, KPIs, and the ongoing development and monitoring of the financial system. The CFO would be responsible for compliance and risk management and would ensure cordial relationship with key stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    · Oversees Accounting department, budget preparation, and Audit functions.

    · Works with other department heads to monitor each department and make recommendations.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    · Involves in preparation of the Annual Budget in close co-ordination with the cross functional team and the present the same to the Board for approval

    · Directs the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.

    · Ensures completion of the Internal Audit process and presenting the same to the Board

    · Compares sales and profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses; makes or oversees any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets.

    · Reviews planning process and suggests improvements to current methods.

    · Analyses operations to identify areas in need of reorganization, downsizing, or elimination.

    · Works with the Sr. Management and other executives to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process.

    · Studies long-range economic trends and projects their impact on future growth in sales and market share.

    · Oversees investment of funds and works with investment bankers to raise additional capital required for expansion.

    · Working capital management and engagement with consortium and multiple banks

    · Ensure Compliance with national & local financial & statutory requirements.

    Required Skills / Abilities:

    · Excellent management and supervisory skills.

    · Excellent analytical and organizational skills.

    · Proficient in SAP application systems.

    · Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    · Experience in engagement with multiple and consortium banks

    Education, Experience and Skills

    · CA / ICWA with 15 to 20 years of Experience

    · 5 years' experience in heading the finance functions in a listed manufacturing company in the size of Rs.300 crores to 800 crores.

    · Experience in engagement with consortium and multiple banks.

    · Age to be with 45 to 50 yrs.

    · Proficient in English and Tamil. Proficiency in Hindi will be a preferred/added qualification.
