    In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:

    • Develop a strategy focused on developing new business opportunities.
    • Conduct research to identify new potential markets and demand.
    • Regular follow up & analyse government policies, regulations and initiatives relevant to our Business.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Prepare MIS and presentation for periodic review meetings.
    • Arrange business meetings with prospective stakeholder(s).
    • Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting stakeholder objectives.
    • Prepare/review contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
    • Keep records of communication, communication materials, sales, revenue, invoices etc.
    • Provide trustworthy feedback/reports.
    • Build long-term relationships with stakeholders of potential business development opportunities.
    • Develop entry level staff into valuable business development focused people.
    • Lead market analysis efforts for product commodities, collaborating with category procurement teams to support business development initiatives.
    • Create and interpret complex data models, providing short, medium, and long-term perspectives to support business development strategies.
    • Monitor competitor activities and industry developments to identify potential opportunities and threats for business development.
    • Stay updated with industry trends and developments to ensure market intelligence remains relevant and impactful for business development initiatives.

    Qualifications

    To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications:

    • A degree or MBA in engineering or any related field.
    • At least 3 to 5 years of working exposure or experience in a similar role.
    • Strong working knowledge of MIS & MS Applications – in particular Excel, Access & power point etc.
    • Willing to relocate to the job location.
