- Oversee all IT operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of the school's technology infrastructure.
- Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring costeffective use of resources.
- Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Recruit, train, and manage IT staff, building small teams focused on different areas of IT work.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Collaborate with the purchase department to select appropriate computer hardware and software products.
- Conduct research and provide recommendations for IT purchases that align with the school's needs and budget.
- Select and implement educational technology products, tools, apps, and platforms, including adaptive learning platforms.
- Stay abreast of evolving technology trends and ensure the school's IT and elearning needs are met.
- Lead the digitization of manual processes, including HR, administrative, and financial processes.
- Implement systems for recruitment, onboarding, payroll, annual appraisals, exit interviews, and reward and retention schemes.
- Digitize financial processes such as cash vouchers, ledgers, and other accounting systems.
- Develop new web platforms inhouse or recommend and implement offtheshelf platforms that meet the school's needs.
- Ensure the platforms are userfriendly, secure, and scalable.
- Develop and implement an IT strategy that aligns with the school's vision and goals.
- Conduct regular assessments of the school's IT infrastructure and make necessary improvements.
- Provide technical support to staff and students.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance IT skills and promote effective use of technology.
