Lead

Consultant - Java, Hadoop, Python and API automationWe are seeking a highly skilled Lead Consultant proficient in Java, Hadoop, Python and API automation to join our dynamic team.

You will play a key role in leading and delivering high-quality software solutions to our clients.

Your primary responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and executing automated test scripts using Java and Selenium, as well as conducting functional testing to ensure the reliability and performance of software applications.

Responsibilities§Consulting projects and engagements, serving as the primary point of contact for clients and providing strategic guidance on testing strategies, automation frameworks, and quality assurance processes.§Architect, design, and implement robust test automation solutions using Java, Selenium, and API testing frameworks to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of software applications.§Develop and maintain automated test suites for API endpoints.§Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and project managers, to define testing requirements, establish best practices, and drive continuous improvement in software quality.§Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in software testing and quality assurance, and apply relevant methodologies and tools to enhance testing processes and practices.§writing applications that communicate with Hadoop, as well as building, operating, and troubleshooting massive Hadoop clusters.§Work closely with the development team to assess existing Big Data infrastructure.§Design and code Hadoop applications to analyse data compilations.§Create data processing frameworks.§Extract and isolate data clusters§Test scripts to analyse results and troubleshoot bugs.§Create data tracking programs and documentation.§Maintain security and data privacy.§Train staff on new application usage§designing, implementing, and executing test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of Python-based software.§Developing strategies for the implementation of tests.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications we seek in you§Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.§Experience in software development, quality assurance, and test automation.§Experience in Java and API testing.§Experience in Hadoop, Python§Agile, JiraPreferred qualifications§Banking / Capital Markets domain experience.§Good Communication and leadership skills.§Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
