  • What you'll be doing:

    As a seasoned project management leader you will contribute to business growth, while accurately and consistently delivering best-in-class operations. This key role is responsible for facilitating delivery of our goals by orchestrating the day-to-day work of the Project Management organization. Also responsible for representing and leading site-specific initiatives for the Business Unit in Bangalore and India.

  • Provide for strong day to day leadership presence and make key operational decisions necessary to achieve established organizational goals.
  • Coordinate across the organization by ensuring smooth communication and coordination across departments, including building and maintaining a system for internal communication inside the organization.
  • Represent the Business Unit on the Site Council
  • Support local leadership to address day to day operational activities and issue resolution related for the Business Unit.
  • Act as local leader for the Business Unit, implementing local and global initiatives, aligned with BU strategic objectives.
  • Resolve cross-departmental challenges, directly or by working with leadership team to figure out solutions that work.
  • Create an environment that welcomes differences of opinion and promotes respect for others, and fosters trust and cooperation
  • Support the VP in strategic planning, project management, and tactical execution of organizational priorities.
  • Act as project manager for organizational program initiatives and cross-functional projects.
  • Manage projects to achieve rapid and sustained goals, objectives and targets.
  • Optimize projects for success, maximize resources and avoid duplication of effort.
  • Work closely with staff to ensure effective, timely and coordinated project implementation.
  • Support organizational strategy development, tracking implementation of organizational priorities and working with colleagues within the Leadership Team to ensure effective execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement culture change through collaboration and communication regarding best practices, knowledge sharing, internal and external benchmarking, talent development and hands-on leadership.
  • Team Management
  • Mentoring and defining career paths by developing core competencies.
  • Ensuring proper training is executed and documented.
  • Plan and execute department-wide strategies and goals to support the organizational growth plan
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for customer issues and with internal and customer teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Escalations may be related to project scope changes, resources, schedule and budgetary matters
  • Set and achieve department goals related to revenue forecasting and attainment, employee retention and client satisfaction
  • Ensure that services are satisfying clients' need now and in the future.
  • What we look for:

  • Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 10+ years of pharmaceutical experience across diverse roles, with Project Management focus demonstrating strong technology, clinical and/or innovation focus
  • At least 6 years of Management/Supervisory experience.
  • At least 5 years of P&L management experience including revenue forecasting
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical drug development process.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and ability to demonstrate strong business acumen in daily decision.
  • Ability to influence decision-making in a highly matrixed organization and willingness to challenge the norm and drive change.
  • Our Project Management teams are subject to European and US working hour shift patterns, and are considered hybrid working roles from our offices in VG Heritage, 18/2, 18/3, Vani Vilas Road, Basavanagudi, Bangalore
