    Aboutthe Role:

    • Asa Performance Engineer You are part of Yubi s platform engineeringteam with strong problem solving skills who can understand recreateand solve real timeproblems.
    • Youwill own the design and implementation of tests that will help inendtoend quality of major deliverables working closely withmultiple engineers acrossteams.
    • Youwill be responsible for development and maintenance of performancetests and load testing tools used by ourorganization.
    • Youshould have strong communication skills and be able to quickly turnideas into productionready solutions in a fastpaced and friendlyenvironment.
    • Youshould have a passion for designing development and testing and theability to upgrade your technical skills within the constantlychanging technologysector.
    • Youwill be testing and identifying bottlenecks in code which verifiesthe quality of the product. That means that you are potentially aremore significant than thedevelopers.

    Responsibilities:

    • Buildingrobust scalable and highquality test performance test scripts inJmeter or relevant tools (Gatling K6 Loadrunner Locust etc..).
    • Coordinatewith Business Development Devops and respective QA stakeholders ona daily basis to understand requirements and deliver at fullcapacity.
    • Apartfrom scripting and test execution you will also be responsible fornonfunctional requirement gathering documenting and delivering therequirements to stakeholders with adequate resultdata.
    • Helpdevelopment teams identify the bottlenecks and root cause for thesame.
    • Providetest results and walkthrough them to required stakeholders.
    • Takeownership and responsibility for product testing and improvingproductquality.
    • Researchingtest tools methodologies and trends and upgrading existingpractices andprocesses.
    • Participatingin design and architecturaldiscussion.


    Requirements

    • 35years overall Performance Testing/Engineeringexperience
    • Strongscripting experience with Jmeter orK6.
    • Shouldpossess good knowledge with APM tools like AppDynamic Dynatrace orNewRelic (preferablyNewRelic).
    • Strongexperience and knowledge in AWS services andarchitecture.
    • Goodknowledge on coding with any one programming language (preferablyJava/JavaScript).
    • Shouldposses strong experience with Agile development incorporating CI/CDUtilizing technologies such as GITJenkins
    • Shouldhave knowledge in APItesting
    • Excellentverbal and written communicationskills
    • Shoulddeal with ambiguous problems and ability to thinkabstractly
    • Shouldhave excellent debugging skills and problem solving skills withattitude to learn

    3-5 years overall Performance Testing/Engineering experience Strongscripting experience with Jmeter or K6. Should possess goodknowledge with APM tools like AppDynamic, Dynatrace or NewRelic(preferably NewRelic). Strong experience and knowledge in AWSservices and architecture. Good knowledge on coding with any oneprogramming language (preferably Java/JavaScript).
