    Roles and Responsibilities

    Accounting and Compliance

    • Payroll Processing and accounting:
    • Day-to-day Book keeping
    • Revenue recognition as per relevant accounting standards and client contracts including Fixed bid contracts. Reconciliations of unbilled revenue, advances.
    • Revenue automation
    • Invoicing, Accounts Receivables, collection follow up, cash application, reconciliations, client balance confirmations
    • Purchasing, purchase order tracking and issue, Accounts Payable, payments to vendors, balance confirmations
    • Asset management, depreciation and amortization calculations, maintaining fixed assets register
    • Cash management, bank reconciliations
    • Monthly Book closing, Publishing of monthly P&L, Balance Sheet and cash flow statement.
    • Corporate Income tax provision calculations, accrual, advance payments, tax return filing, refund follow up etc.
    • GST accounting, filing, refunds, input tax credit etc.
    • Statutory compliance

    Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

    • Monthly Customer Profitability Report
    • Monthly Markets/ Practice Profitability Report
    • Budget variance Report
    • Utilization Report
    • Any other custom report designed by the Management
    • Conduct Monthly P&L reviews with P&L Leaders across the organization
    • Get P&L Leaders to commit to targets on Revenue, GM, Forecast and Utilization
    • Document Actions, publish across the leadership teams
    • Annual Budgeting and Monthly Forecasting
    • Monthly Revenue and Resource Forecast, process, consolidation and reporting
    • Pricing, Deal Margin Calculators
    • Be the Finance Partner to Business

    Educational Qualification and Experience

    Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost and Management Accountant (CMA). Experience range of 12 to 15 years of working in Finance Team of a founder owned and run Offshore IT Services company. Size of the company could be in the headcount range of 1,000 to 2,500. It is important that the candidate should have executed the above responsibilities.
