    Job Purpose

The Data Management Team is responsible for developing the data governance/management strategy and implementing data management disciplines to ensure data quality, availability, and veracity. Our data management practice supports our digital initiatives, defines the data model, facilitates the digital thread, and enables the company to take decisions based on trusted data. A key enabler of this transformation is robust master data. To support, we are recruiting a MDM Solution Manager to manage our corporate MDM Solution and lead the MDM Team.

    Job Description

    The MDM Solution Manager will be the key focal point in the Data Management Team responsible for managing the corporate master data application and supporting team to ensure that TechnipFMC's corporate master and reference data is current, accurate and used across the technical eco-system to support fidelity of master and reference data.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing the corporate MDM solution, including ongoing production support, solution delivery, financial and vendor management.
  • Manages vendor relationships, including negotiation of license and maintenance agreements and statements of work.
  • Manages the technical and content roadmaps for the solution.
  • Manages budget and budget tracking process.
  • Leads, coaches and mentors the MDM Team.
  • Manages employee development plans and performance reviews for the MDM Team.
  • Identifies staffing needs and participates in the candidate interviewing/hiring process for the MDM Team.
  • Manages relationships with the internal business and technical stakeholders (Data Owners, Data Stewards, ONEERP, Data Management, Digital, IDS...)
  • Manages the MDM Data Quality KPIs and proactively takes action to ensure that MDM data is of good quality and utilized effectively across the company.
  • Leads project definitions and solution backlog. This includes initial cost assessment of projects and ensures projects are initiated in compliance with the TechnipFMC standards.
  • Ensures that MDM artefacts such documentation, training, resources are current and comprehensive.
  • Works with:

  • Data Management Network (Data Owners, Data Stewards, Business SMEs), Data Governance Lead, Enterprise Architecture, IT/Digital Product Owner/Manager, External Vendors.
  • You are meant for this job if:

  • Educated to degree level in IT, Computing Science, Engineering or Business or with relevant and demonstrated experience in this domain.
  • Relevant experience with IT & Digital Projects regarding data requirements, business process, business analysis or data modelling.
  • Good understanding of the master and reference data principles.
  • Prior experience of working with well-known MDM software such as TIBCO EBX or other.
  • Experience of working in an AGILE environment.
  • Prior experience of managing a team.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization.
  • Able to work with ambiguity.
  • Good project/product management and change management skills.
  • Ability to manage discussions with Vendors.
  • Keen to work in an international, collaborative environment and with virtual teams.
  • Fluent in English.
