    Description

    Responsibilities :

    • Engineer productionquality, reusable, and maintainable code for cloudbased microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and React.
    • Enhance testing platforms, improve test automation practices, and foster a culture of software craftsmanship through Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Test-First Development (TDD).
    • Implement solutions that delight customers and partner software engineers by exceeding expectations and delivering exceptional results.
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of our software solutions to identify areas for improvement and ensure optimal functionality.
    • Collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams working on commercial and fleet software solutions.
    • Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
    • Utilize cloudbased development tools and integrate solutions with Ford enterprise systems.


    Qualifications :
    Minimum

    Qualifications :

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
    -2+ years of experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, and

    • Experience with modern relational and nonrelational databases (SQL and NoSQL).
    • Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools and pipelines (Jenkins, Terraform, SonarQube, Maven, Gradle, Harness, Apigee X).
    • 1+ years of experience developing and deploying applications to cloud platforms (GCP, PCF, AWS, Azure).
    • Experience with unit testing methodologies.
    Preferred

    Qualifications :

    • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
    • Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles.
    • Experience with eXtreme Programming (XP) practices, including pair programming, mob programming, TDD.
    • Experience with Spring/Spring Boot and RESTful web services development.
    • Experience with machine learning, mathematical modeling, and data analysis.
    • Experience with CA Agile Central (Rally) or similar Agile project management tools.
    • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with technical specialists, product managers, UI/UX designers, and business partners.
    • Passion for learning and a willingness to work in a pair programming environment.
    • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to multitask, manage changing priorities, and meet deadlines.
    • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
    • Understanding of fundamental data modeling concepts.
