    Associate Security Engineer - IT CSES, GSO

    We are looking for a passionate and experienced Network Security Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of Security Operations at Micron Technology, Inc. In this role, you will work in a dynamic environment focusing on Security Operations within our IT Infrastructure Operations.

    Responsibilities and Tasks:

    • Enhance security technical controls for a global enterprise
    • Design, install, configure, and troubleshoot network security products
    • Act as the network security design engineer on security programs
    • Provide expert research and analysis for network security functions
    • Drive optimization of performance, availability, and capacity
    • Translate business requirements into technical solutions
    • Identify gaps and recommend best practices for improved security
    • Upgrade security infrastructure to maintain current versions
    • Standard escalation procedures and maintain audit review processes
    • Automate processes to streamline workflow
    • Participate in root cause analysis and troubleshooting
    • Emergency response team participation for critical incidents
    • Develop security key performance indicators
    • Expected to work in rotational shifts from the office
    • Operational-driven activities focused on Info-Security Operations

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • 1-3 years of overall experience
    • Hands-on experience with security tools like Firewall, Web Proxy, SSL VPN, IPS appliances, and more
    • Extensive understanding of network security solutions
    • Technical lead experience and ability to balance security with productivity

    Good to have:

    • Experience with Network DLP technologies and endpoint tools
    • Understanding of security concepts and PKI infrastructure
    • Scripting abilities and strong communication skills
    • Interest in exploring cyber security technologies and managing Web/Application Servers

    Shift: 24/7 rotational

    Education:

    • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields
    • Network security vendor certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, PCNSC, ZCCP
