This includes the installation configurationadministration maintenance and tuning of web servers. Additionallythe Web Administrator troubleshoots server issues and providestechnical support to Web design and developmentteams.Essential Job Duties &Responsibilities Supports the installationconfiguration security operations and maintenance of all webservers application servers and othersoftware. Administers the internet/intranetinfrastructure including components such as web servers applicationservers source control and deploymentsoftware. Conducts application andinfrastructure monitoring Monitors usagestatistics and logs and produces reports on user and web sitebehavior. Implement updates upgrades andpatches in a timely manner to limit loss ofservice. Troubleshoots web/applicationserver problems and security issues and resolves asnecessary. Tests backups or recovery plansregularly and resolves any issues.Collaborates with development teams to discuss analyze or resolveusability issues. Provides oncall 24x7system support on a rotational basis.Otherduties AsassignedKnowledge Skills &Abilities Scripting experience (shell perltcl or python). Knowledge of Apache; JBossWebSphere WebLogic J2EE technologiesKnowledge of ARA technologies or deployment automationtechniques Knowledge of Apigee F5loadbalancer and familiarity with Akamai rulesmanagement. Knowledge of SAP BusinessObjects & SAP Data Servicesproducts. Knowledge of Linux AIX and/orSolaris operating system(s).
