    Plastics For Change is a social enterprise located in Bengaluru that collects discarded plastic and converts it into recycled materials. As the largest source of fair trade verified recycled plastic, we connect waste collectors with global brands to replace fossil fuel-based plastic. Our mission is to create better livelihoods for the ultra poor and prevent plastic from entering the ocean. Since 2016, we have helped brands like The Body Shop and L'Oréal increase their market share through recycling and cause marketing campaigns.

    Role Description

    This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Manager - B2B Plastic Sales. The Senior Manager will be responsible for daily sales operations, business planning, and customer service in the B2B sector. They will analyze market trends, develop sales strategies, communicate with clients, and ensure the smooth operation of sales activities.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Prospect potential clients to identify high quality leads
    • Make effective presentations with industry partners
    • Follow up with leads with diplomatic persistency
    • Oversee a smooth sampling process with clients
    • Oversee the line trialing and validation of new material with clients
    • Manage sales funnel in CRM tool
    • Engage with clients at trade shows
    • Visit manufacturer during the line trial
    • Nurture customer relationship and ensure customer happiness

    Skills & Expertise:

    • Bachelor's degree. Masters degree is a plus
    • 10+ years of experience with progressive general management responsibilities in a high-paced rapid growth environment
    • Proven experience in leading a sales team
    • Sales / Customer relationship management
    • Experience and success in preparing for, negotiating
    • Detailed Understanding of plastics and plastic packaging
    • Attention to detail when calling operational processes, both internally and with external partners
    • Managing multiple projects in a manner that focuses the team and drives results
    • Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team
    • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to the mission of Plastics For Change
    • Fluent in English. In addition, Hindi and Kannada would be an advantage
    • Analytical Skills, Business Planning, and Communication skills
    • Experience in customer service and sales operations
    • Proven track record in B2B sales
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
    • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
    • Experience in the recycling or sustainable materials industry is a plus
