Job Description:

This role is primarily a player and coach role. Initially, this will be an individual contributor role with an opportunity to build a solution consulting team thereafter. The primary responsibility of this role is to work with customers and the Veloce team to understand customer requirements and masterfully demonstrate those requirements in a product presentation that succinctly explains how the product will benefit the customer's business processes. As a Solution Consultant, you will be responsible for interacting with the customer to lead discovery sessions, planning with technical teams to help with a demonstration setup, configuring the demonstration environment, and presenting to the customer how Salesforce CPQ + Veloce can deliver those requirements. You will have enough expertise in CPQ to provide high-level assessments of functional architecture and the implications of such designs to build confidence that Veloce has the knowledge and capabilities to address their needs. Lastly, you will be expected to learn and explain to customers why the combined solution makes the most sense for their particular business needs from a technical perspective.

Required skills:

Minimum 6+ years of experience in Salesforce CPQ implementations.

Minimum 4+ end-to-end Salesforce CPQ implementations

Salesforce CPQ certification is a must

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently

Must have storytelling skills and impress customers by summarizing what's important for customers and why or why not

Planning, preparing, rehearsing, building, and maintaining demo environments & scripts

Hands-on experience in the platform configuration and development using Apex, LWC & flows.

Experience in Java is a plus

Experience with configuration & implementation of Salesforce CPQ, including product/bundle configuration, pricing, discounting, quoting process, quote approvals, template authoring, and workflows.

Ability to learn and demonstrate Veloce and Salesforce CPQ together

Ability to customize Salesforce CPQ solutions to meet business requirements and demonstrate the same to the customer.

Able to translate customer requirements and gap/fit analysis into a comprehensible solution and demonstrate the same to the customer

Strong understanding of the quote-to-cash process, ability to propose solutions

Understanding of integration with external CRM & ERP systems to ensure seamless data flow is a plus

Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues on Salesforce CPQ.

Staying updated on the latest Salesforce CPQ features, enhancements, and industry trends.
