- Ability to convert Industrial Design A-Surface to DFM ready parts, understand Plastic Manufacturing process and optimize design for cost and manufacturability.
- Ability to work on Surface model in CAD in SolidWorks.
- Ability to do design calculations for strength, force, friction, snaps, bending moments, impact etc.
- Ability to be innovative in conceptual problem solving and come up with creative engineering solutions.
- Concept Design, Part Split up, ID to DFM Conversion, surface modelling
- Plastic Design
- Plastic Product Manufacturing process skill set like FDM, SLA, SLS, Injection moulding, Silicon Moulding
- Engg Basics & Calculations
- Experience in IP Related Enclosure design
- Thermal related Problem solving skill
- DFM, DFA & DFS
- GD&T
- Tolerance stack-up analysis
- In hand experience proto development, testing & validation
- Should be able to develop a project from concept definition to production detail design
- Critical thinking & problem solving
- Understanding of E&E from cross functional team
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Written and oral communication.
