IT Procurement Lead - procurement of software package,cloud procurement ,vendor contract ,service level agreement
Location Mumbai
should have handled procurement worth 50cr -100cr annually
Salary - max 30-35lpa
10 + years of relavent experience is a must
Perform evaluations and reference checks to ensure superior quality of vendors within budget while sourcing them.
Manage vendors to ensure smooth and timely execution of the project by effectively tackling matters related to IT equipment quality.
Draft IT Procurement policy and process documents for standard procurement related operations across sites.
Conduct regular reviews with vendors, and sort any issues/ grievances to ensure smooth execution of projects.
Facilitate correct and timely vendor payment.
Make sure all IT equipment is packed appropriately and transported timely to the sites with out any damage.
Design processes for Gate movement, Goods Received (GRN receipt), Storage on site and Issuance of the material/equipment to people to correctly account materials and avoid any sort of syphoning.
Make regular visits to vendors to ensure expected standard, quality and timeline of the material and equipment.
Track and monitor vendors to meet equipment/material delivery timelines.
Support the Project teams for local procurement of IT equipment so as to ensure their cost competitiveness, expected quality and on time delivery.
Ensure that the IT material reaches required site on time every time to ensure every project milestone timeline is met.
Put systems in place for monitoring, tracking and course correcting procurement progress during every project milestone.
Make sure seniors are informed/updated about the status of milestones including lags regularly.
Support the Procurement head to create a system to track and assess overall project cost.
Build a system to track & assess IT equipment procurement cost to maintain strict control over spends.
Make sure seniors are informed/updated about the status of cost including overruns / underruns.
Complete every IT equipment procurement milestone and the consequently the entire project within the budgeted cost.
Set up internal liaisons to ensure timely procurement of the IT equipment at most economical costs.
