Description
Job Title: Area Sales Manager
Reports To: Regional Mngr. South
Team: West Region
Location: Bangalore and Chennai
Main Purposes of Role:
Working as part of a focused and successful Sales Team, to exceed sales targets and customer service expectations set out as per the business objectives.
The main purpose of the role is to Map & Develop New Customers, Generate Enquiries, convert them into Business aligned to the Sales Target while providing technical and commercial support to Customers and ensure our customers expectations are met and service levels exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:
Profiling, Prospecting and prioritising Customer Business based on the science of Customer Mapping
Identifying the customers and setting short term and long-term Sales objectives
Product Introduction, Presentations, engaging with key Decision makers, Understanding the expectation of the customer, anticipating key Entry points, Generating Clear enquiries which are convertible with Strategic pricing.
To promote the complete James Walker products and capabilities and obtain market and competitor information with extensive travel throughout South
To understand customer enquiries and comprehend them with Strategic Thinking while providing all relevant technical, pricing, competitor intelligence to the technical window before a RFQ is processed and a quote is generated to convert to Sales
To work with the HQ and your line manager to ensure all enquiries are processed in the Stipulated time frame.
To actively follow up quotations to determine the status of James Walker proposals and make commercial judgments to convert opportunities to orders.
To build strong customer relationships using varied communication methods to ensure customer expectations are achieved.
To undertake any reasonable request from Management.

3 to 4 Yrs. in Fluid power / Valves/Pumps Industry with Work experience in Industrial, Heavy Egg.,
Power, Metallurgy Industry would be preferred
Experience:
Technical Sales Experience
Excel, Word, PDF and PowerPoint
