BiW Controls & PLC Programming Leader

You will be working as BiW Controls & PLC Programming Leader at global grade 14 and will be part of Robotics & Discrete Automation business, Robot Automotive division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Business Manager – Operations & Portfolio and will be responsible for on-site robot debugging including PLC system commission, functional program module writing, program debugging and problem handling

Your responsibilities

• Managing and monitoring project during whole execution period until get FAC
• Understanding Electrical Panels Drawings in Auto CAD, E-Plan
• Controlling and Pneumatic design, defining BOM and be able to do controls costing for project
• Identifying and correcting the mistakes and updating the electrical drawing as per the field
• Preparing BOM for electrical panels, sensors and cables

Your background

• B.E or Diploma in Electrical or Electronics / Communication / Instrumentation with 3 to 8 years of project experience
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of working experience (Minimum 3 years in BiW and 4 years of experience in PLC/HMI programing in Rockwell & Siemens)
• Hands on experience Rockwell PLC/HMI software (RS Logix 5000, Studio 5000, Factory Talk view) & Siemens PLCs (TIA Portal, GX works2, Wonderware)
• Exposure of working with automotive customers, preferably BiW lines
• Proficiency in Key MS office programs is required (Excel, Outlook, Word & Power point)
