    Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Cloud Engineer - Azure - to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering cloud solutions and ensuring high-quality, timely, and cost-effective outcomes.

    You will also exhibit deep SME capabilities, provide guidance and direction to the team, and collaborate with various :

    • Azure solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and cloud best practices.
    • Must be proficient in building and troubleshooting cloud-native services e.g. Virtual Machines, Storage, Managed Databases, Load Balancers Serverless components, Network services, etc.
    • Well-versed with Cloud-native design patterns, and implementation best practices.
    • Enforce and maintain security standards across Azure infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory requirements.
    • Design and implement disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity plans using Azure Site Recovery and other Azure services.
    • Implement Azure governance frameworks and manage policies to enforce organizational standards and cost controls.

    Requirements :

    • Must be fluent with Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tool for automated provisioning and management of Azure resources.
    • Must be fluent in Python to power automation.
    • Should be able to develop and implement scalable, high-availability.
    • Fluent in setting up and configuring cloud-native monitoring tools.
    • Self-starter who is proactive in identifying risks/issues, and contributes to the business in areas outside of their required responsibilities.
    • Knowledge sharing across teams and encouraging others to share knowledge.
    • Guiding and Mentoring other team members.

    Must-Have :

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Equivalent.
    • Overall 10+ years of experience with 5+ years in cloud services company.
    • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to demonstrate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
    • Willingness to work in customer-specific time zones.

    Good to have :

    • New idea contribution and exposure to cloud automation projects.
    • Good to have Certifications in the Cloud at the min for Solutions Architect.
    • Experience in working with product teams.
