    A senior Magento developer plays a critical role in the successful planning, development, deployment, and maintenance of high-quality, secure, and scalable Magento eCommerce solutions. They are instrumental in driving innovation, efficiency, and growth in eCommerce businesses leveraging the Magento platform.

    Requirements

    • Magento 2 Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with Magento 2 development, including in-depth knowledge of its architecture, features, and customization capabilities.
    • PHP Development: Strong proficiency in PHP, as Magento 2 is built on PHP. Understanding core PHP concepts, object-oriented programming (OOP), and familiarity with PHP frameworks is crucial.
    • Magento 2 Architecture: Comprehensive understanding of Magento 2s architecture, including modules, themes, layout components, database structure, and dependency injection.
    • Custom Module Development: Ability to create custom modules in Magento 2 to extend its functionalities, including backend and frontend development.
    • Magento APIs: Experience working with Magento REST and SOAP APIs for integrating external systems, third-party applications, and building custom integrations.
    • Database Management: Knowledge of MySQL or MariaDB and the ability to optimize database queries, manage data, and work with Magentos database schema.

    • Version Control Systems: Proficiency with version control tools like Git for managing code repositories and collaborating with other developers.

    • Performance Optimization: Skills in optimising the performance of Magento 2 stores, including caching mechanisms, code profiling, indexing, and server configurations.
    • Security Best Practices: Understanding of security vulnerabilities and best practices for securing Magento 2 websites, including data protection, secure coding practices, and compliance standards.
    • Troubleshooting and Debugging: Proficient in identifying and resolving issues, debugging code, and implementing effective solutions for Magento 2 projects.
