    Job Description

    This is a full-time on-site role for a Assistant Manager - QA/QC for Backpacks. You will be responsible for ensuring that backpacks manufactured by the company meet all the standards and customer expectations. You will be responsible for conducting quality checks, making reports, and communicating with the production team.

    Location: Manesar, Haryana

    Experience: 4-5 Years (Preferably in Backpack/Apparel Industry)

    Office Time: 09:30 to 06:30

    6 Days Working/Full time office job/2nd and 4th Saturday off

    Responsibilities

    • Review specifications and requirements for backpacks to ensure materials and components meet standards.
    • Inspect raw materials based on specifications and control plans, and generate reports.
    • Notify the supervisor of any issues related to product quantity and quality.
    • Conduct regular inspections of the production line to ensure compliance with approved procedures and quality standards.
    • Ensure timely clearance of Goods Received Notes (GRN) invoices.
    • Follow up with the purchase team, warehouse team, and suppliers for material feedback.
    • Inspect incoming materials within the lead time.
    • Control and inspect materials according to customer requirements.
    • Send reject and pass material reports to department heads and the purchase team.
    • Follow up with the purchase team for rejected materials and ensure proper replacement according to quality standards.
    • Document and store all inspection and testing results for future reference.

    Required skills and qualifications

    • Deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
    • Excellent computer skills, including database management
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
    • Proficiency in best practices for testing, version control, and defect management
    • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in relevant field
