    About the job

    At Goin' My Way, we help our clients plan and execute the perfect travel itinerary, from family vacations in Singapore to romantic getaways in Paris or most commonly the weekend getaways. We seek a sharp, knowledgeable travel consultant to make our clients' dreams a reality. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel and understand the complex logistics involved in crafting itineraries. Our agents should be great communicators, with an ability to take a client's request and build their desired travel package — all while navigating language barriers, time zones, and currency exchange rates.

    Experience: 03-10 Years

    Objectives of this role

    • Work together with clients to create the ideal travel schedule.
    • Arrange for clients' lodging, bookings, and transportation.
    • Provide a supportive atmosphere for co-workers at work.
    • Maintain the Business standing as a premier travel agency by providing excellent customer service and achieving positive outcomes.
    • Establish and nurture strong connections with travel-related businesses, such as lodging, dining establishments, tour operators, and event ticketing firms.
    • Assist in navigating foreign or domestic travel regulations, such as those pertaining to passports, visas, or immunizations.

    Responsibilities

    · Stay up to date on the latest travel industry news and trends, such as cultural events and emergency situations

    · Selling Travel Packages for both Domestic & International destinations.

    · Provide information and recommendations to clients regarding their future destinations.

    · Plan itineraries that meet clients' budgets and requests

    · Answer emails and calls from clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have about their travel plans

    · Work with clients to make last-minute changes or updates to their itinerary's.

    · Follow-up with Customers to convert the Lead into Sale.

    Skills and qualifications

    • Strong communication and sales skills
    • Familiarity with the latest travel trends, including popular vacation locations and activities
    • Strong organizational and planning skills
    • Excellent time management skills
    • Understanding of foreign and domestic travel requirements or restrictions
    • Previous experience for working with Travel Agent/Agency/OTA will be only be preferred for stated Job role.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in order to understand their specific needs/requirements.
    • Must have knowledge of destinations from tourism perspective like Himachal Kashmir, Kerala, Goa, Bhutan, Leh Ladakh, Dubai, Thailand, Bali, Maldives, Seychelles, Europe ,South Africa, Mauritius, Australia, New-Zealand, etc.
    • Strong communicating skills and able to write, work and communicate individually on emails.
    • Research various destinations and means of travel regarding prices, customs, weather conditions, reviews etc.
    • The candidate will be responsible for managing operations of B2C online portal.
    • Must have ability to help out our clients if they have any problems during their trip.
    • Managing complete operations of holidays
    • Client handling skills, itinerary making & costing, sale of packages.
    • Knowledge of Hotel, Tours & Transfers, Attractions procedures via online or other procedure.

    Preferred qualifications

    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Background in tourism industry as a Travel Consultant for minimum of 3 years is must.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Patience and perseverance when unforeseen issues arise
    • Ability to work independently or with a team if needed
