Requirements:5 + years knowledge of Essbase, DRM, FDMEE, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Financial Report Studio, SQL, Smart ViewExperience in Hyperion Essbase Development is required.

Functional and Technical Skills :

Ability to develop and maintain Hyperion Essbase applications, data load rules, dimension build rules, calculation scripts, report scriptsAbility to create, maintain, and optimize Essbase outlines – manually and through MaxL scriptsFamiliarity with Financial Reporting StudioAbility to interface with users to quickly correct problems and develop solutions.

High attention to detailStrong working knowledge of Microsoft ExcelExcellent organizational skills, attention to details, multi-tasking abilities and team oriented

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage operations and end-user support of Essbase application, and Financial ReportsEnsure smooth Quarter-End close and forecast/outlook cycles through close partnership with Finance and IT business partnersCoordinate operational handover with global support teamsProactively monitor and streamline tasks and procedures following company standardsWork interdependently with cross functional teams, application teams, and business units to ensure service delivery is meeting business objectivesEstablish and perform standard operational policies and proceduresModify/tune existing batch scripts, consolidation/business rules, and Essbase calc scriptsCreate technical documentation, including data flow charts, system diagrams, formulas and methods for solving business problems, incorporating infrastructure requirements and interfaces.

Update/create end user training documents for HFM and Hyperion Planning/Essbase (including forms, grids, Smart View etc)Take on various roles regarding project initiatives while following strict deadlines
