    Description

    Solutions Architect - Specialist

    As a senior technologist, you will be a key member of the project team responsible for designing and implementing solutions to meet client business requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer needs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Participate in process flow analysis and redesign, working closely with Business Analysts to identify areas for improvement.
    • Share best practices and provide consultative guidance to Business Analysts throughout the project duration.
    • Develop detailed solution design documents that align customer requirements with product capabilities.
    • Challenge conventional thinking and develop innovative solutions that leverage industry trends and technology advancements.
    • Contribute to training design, documentation, and delivery efforts, collaborating with Business Analysts to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
    • Lead project meetings in the absence of the Business Analyst, ensuring clear communication and progress updates.
    • Interface with development teams, providing hands-on guidance and support as needed.
    • Maintain necessary certifications and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
    • Participate in pre-sales activities, helping to shape solutions that meet customer needs.
    • Conduct market research to stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and methodologies.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent.
    • Proven experience in software development, architecture, business analysis, and solutions architecture.
    • Familiarity with architecture patterns, microservices architecture, data modeling, web/app technologies, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
    • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear, concise language.
    • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective solution designs.
    • Knowledge of web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture, and experience managing competing priorities and constraints.
    • Must demonstrate sound judgment and a pragmatic approach to delivering solutions that balance business needs with technological realities.
    • Experience with SDLC and Agile (Scrum) project methodologies, with a strong understanding of time management and problem-solving techniques.
    • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with multiple deadlines and pressure points.
    • Airline experience is mandatory, with a deep understanding of the aviation industry and its complexities.
