    Job Title - Genesys Test EngineerLocation - Hyderabad/BangalorePosition - Full TimeExperience - 3-6 Years


    Uses Genesys specific tools to manage and report daily work assignments, which are but not limited to Genesys Project, JIRA and other automated testing tools.


    Primary Responsibilities:
    Familiar with testing processes and practicesDevelopment, documentation, and execution of automated and manual testsWork collaboratively with product manager, development & QA teams during all stages of software development life cycleExposure to test automation tools


    Roles & responsibilities:


    requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful cases and creates or updates test case documents with assistance from core engineering team.detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases, identify bugs, evaluate bugs with appropriate priority and severity, and report bugs.prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.thorough regression testing when bugs are gap between the function specifications and functionality of the entire product and takes ownership of the hot fixes allocated to him/her for testing.recommendations for enhancing product features.quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect to date with new testing tools and test strategies.

    Required Qualificationsexperience validating various Contact Center components related to voice, email, and work items channels both on-Prem and Genesys cloud to include Genesys data and Functional and Non-Functional expertise in Test Case Design, Test Execution, Defect Management, Reporting and Test Asset Maintenance (manual and automated).

    Experience of logging the bugs on Qtest and preparing Test plan strategy, Test Approach and Test Results design and execute various testing techniques and strategies.knowledge of JIRA and test automation tools supporting Contact Center platforms.

    (i.e. selenium or Qtest )experience with Cyara for automated IVR SDLC, Agile/SCRUM concepts and software release cycle.

    Oral & Written communication skills.customer interfacing skills and ability to collaboratively work with different stakeholders in IT and have experience in Genesys cloud testing.
