    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in gathering relevant documentation and information required for GST audits, including financial records, tax returns, and supporting documentation.
    • Review invoices, purchase orders, and other transactional documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Collaborate with audit team members to conduct thorough examinations of financial records and identify discrepancies or potential areas of concern.
    • Prepare detailed audit reports documenting findings, observations, and recommendations for corrective action.
    • Assist in conducting financial audits and tax audits, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
    • Utilize analytical skills to analyze financial data and identify trends or irregularities that may require further investigation.
    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external auditors to facilitate the audit process and address any inquiries or concerns.
    • Maintain organized and accurate records of audit activities, documentation, and findings.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit procedures and processes to enhance efficiency and Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • Experience in accounting or auditing, with a focus on GST audits preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, standards, and taxation principles.
    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
    • Detailoriented approach with a high level of accuracy and precision.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
    • Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.

    Additional Skills (preferred):

    • Familiarity with GST laws and regulations.
    • Experience using accounting software or ERP systems.
    • Certification in auditing or accounting (e.g., CPA, CA, CIA).
