The successful candidate will be a strategic thought partner with a focus on analytics and providing data driven business and financial / operational insights to the relevant stakeholders that will enable sound decision making.

Job Responsibilities
    • The role is a balance between management of daily tasks along with development of reporting, front end tools, and solutions to support ASF Support Leadership and their respective team.
    • The focus of this role will be to develop solutions that give the decision maker or analyst the information that the need when they need it.
    • The business is tasked with managing 20k+ SKU's and in an environment with tight margins, timely insights are a key differentiator.
    • It is essential that the solutions that our team develops are built with the specific needs of the end user in mind.
    • This position will have exposure across all business functions including (but not limited to): financial planning, category analytics, promo optimization, pricing strategy, space/inventory analytics, competitive intelligence, and operations.
    • Build robust processes to ensure 100% accurate and timely analysis for productivity and optimization.
    • Contribute to a high performing team that will build, monitor, and report out business performance, deliver adhoc projects by following practices towards building a state-of-the art delivery organization.
    • Drive projects that provide answers to strategic and tactical business questions, while dealing with some level of ambiguity
      • Grasp the problem on hand; translate to tangible and usable work product (create 'what-if scenarios')
      • Recommend suitable approach to solve problems given the facts, data, and any other information (financial / operational)
      • Strong narratives with impact – (why, what, how) to influence decision making
      • Manage planning & analysis using various levers- products, inventory, pricing, promotion, business landscape, merchant inputs that play a key role in retail
      • Present the analysis and recommendations to senior team members; leadership on strategic decisions, planned initiatives
    • Establish and maintain operational, financial, and business metrics
    • Challenge status quo to add diverse perspectives to solve complex business problems with a keen sense of curiosity, understanding, bias to action, customer needs and deliver objective with superior quality
    • Pursue self-development; seek performance feedback; adapt and learn from change
    • Basic Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree/ Master's Degree- Business, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Quantitative fields of study.
    • 1-3 years of experience in a Business Intelligence / Data Analytical role.
    • Preferable 1+ years in retail.
    • Sharp analytical bent of mind along with good business acumen and understanding.
    • Experience working with large sets of data
    • Advanced knowledge of modeling techniques, use of Excel (Power pivot, Power Query, VBA, Power Automate), Power BI, SQL, Python, PowerPoint
    • Strong work ethic based on desire to exceed expectations.
