    Job Overview:


    As a Chartered Accountant (CA) with a specialization in financial matters, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and success of our startup.

    You will be responsible for providing expert guidance in financial planning, compliance, reporting, and strategic decision-making.

    This role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in startups, specifically within the Agritech, E-commerce, or Quick Commerce sector.


    • Lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities.
    • Provide expert advice on business structuring, tax planning, and financial compliance.
    • Play a vital role in fundraising efforts, advising on capital raising options and preparing financial models.
    • Drive cost control initiatives and efficient expense management practices.
    • Assess financial risks and develop strategies for mitigation.
    • Contribute to strategic decisionmaking through insightful financial advisory services.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Financial Planning and Analysis:

    • Create comprehensive financial plans, including budgeting and forecasting, to guide informed financial decisions for startup operations.

    Business Structuring and Tax Planning:

    • Provide guidance on suitable business structures and implement tax planning strategies to minimize the startup's tax liability.

    Financial Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax laws, assisting in filing tax returns and preparing necessary financial documentation.

    Financial Reporting:

    • Prepare and review financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements) for internal and external stakeholders.

    Audit and Assurance Services:
    Provide audit and assurance services to verify financial information accuracy, instilling confidence in investors and creditors.


    Investor Relations:

    • Effectively communicate financial information to potential investors, preparing reports and presentations for meetings and due diligence processes.

    Capital Raising and Funding:

    • Advise on various funding options, prepare financial models, and assist in business plans for fundraising efforts.

    Cost Control and Expense Management:
    Identify areas for cost savings and implement efficient expense management practices considering startup resource constraints.


    Risk Management:
    Assess financial risks and develop strategies for mitigation, including evaluating insurance needs and implementing risk management policies.


    Exit Strategies:

    • Assist in planning exit strategies, and maximizing financial value through acquisitions, mergers, or IPOs.

    Financial Systems and Technology:
    Recommend and implement accounting software and financial systems to streamline processes and provide real-time financial data crucial for decision-making.


    Advisory Services:


    Serve as a financial advisor beyond compliance and reporting, offering insights into financial trends, benchmarking against industry standards, and assisting in strategic financial decisions.


    Due Diligence:
    Conduct due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, or partnerships, assessing financial health and associated risks.


    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
    • Minimum 45 years of handson experience in startups within the Agritech, Ecommerce, or Quick Commerce industry.
    • Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting.
