    Description

    Lead and contribute to the develop culture of safe work practices and offer safe and healthy workplace for colleagues in the company by encouraging to reporting of unsafe act, condition, near miss, to eliminate potential hazard.

    Ensure to comply with statutory and regulatory requirements under applicable safety and environmental laws applicable considering the process and setup without any deviations.

    Initiate, monitor, and sustain the actions align with organisational goal of carbon neutrality, green energy, reduce, recycle, and reuse.

    Educate to inculcate the philosophy of KAITEKI – The well-being of people and the planet.

    Responsibilities: -

    • Responsible for implementation of EHS Policies across the company
    • EHS Culture to achieve Zero Harm through proactive approach in collaboration with other operational and support functions.
    • of 14000 & 18000 as per international standards.
    • potential risk & Suggest mitigating measures by identifying unsafe conditions, unsafe acts and reporting near miss.
    • of EHS Policy, guidelines, procedures & Compliance to legal requirements.
    • and conduct weekly safety audit and make an action plan for corrective actions. Report the finding to Management along with corrective action plan proactively.
    • Analysis and risk prevention plan.
    • evaluation & performance monitoring of contractor working at plant including system of penalties and appreciations.
    • training needs, plan and organize training plan at all levels
    • near misses, unsafe conditions, acts & register. Prepare actions against corrective & preventive actions.
    • /Accident reporting and communication (escalation), investigation, analysis and CAPA.
    • review of emergency preparedness plan & Carrying out mock drills. Coordination of internal and external agencies on EHS Topic.
    • with local authorities' for statutory compliance of EHS.
    • to Operation Head on daily basis
    • analysis of present practice and standards to be followed. Make an action plan for fulfilling the gap.
    • with statutory and regulatory requirements under the safety and environmental laws.

    Accountable to ensure the strict adherence with internal controls and safety guidelines followed across the company without deviations.

    • have sound knowledge of safety practices and standards with applicable law.
    • be firm with zero tolerance with safety in plant.
    • have good communication skills to identify and implement safety measures at plant.

    Qualifications

    • Graduate in Industrial Safety, Health & Environment
    • Certified Auditor qualification for ISO
    • 10+ years' of Experience in Chemical Industry
    • Exposer in working on ISO 14000 & 18000, IATF 16949, ISO 13485
    • Strong verbal or written communication skills
