    Job Description:

    The Domain Specialist of Accounts Payable will oversee all metrics and report to leadership on a periodic basis. This includes daily tracking of payables volumes and ensuring the right allocation within the team.

    The Domain specialist will ensure that all controls are being followed and meet SOX compliance. Weekly SLA reporting will be conducted for all sub-processes in the Accounts Payable function.

    Knowledge enhancement sessions will be held for new teammates, and the gaps in processes will be identified, with proactive action taken to address any future risks.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Daily tracking of volumes for the entire payables process, including invoices, helpdesk, T&E, etc.
    • Allocation of volumes and supervision for timely completion, adhering to Service Level Agreements.
    • Involvement in all aspects of preparing invoices and expense reports for payment, including inputting data into the financial reporting system, coding and verifying correct ledger codes, reviewing supporting documentation, and more.
    • Identify improvement opportunities using benchmarking data, provide recommendations to Managers, design and implement process improvements, and execute results.
    • Conduct audits of invoices and expenses to ensure compliance with company policies and protect against fraud, waste, and abuse.
    • Provide accurate and helpful support with supplier inquiries.
    • Independently resolve discrepancies with clients and departments or individuals throughout the firm.
    • Program administration and oversight of the company's corporate card program, including system administration of Concur and collaboration with technical teams to address problems and implement enhancements.
    • Establish effective relationships with partners within and outside the organization through written and verbal communication.

    Key Requirements:

    • Deep domain expertise in Accounts Payable Operations
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer service mentality
    • End-to-end P2P process knowledge with accounting steps and controls
    • Understanding of SLAs and implications of non-compliance
    • Client handling experience, including providing process updates/dashboards calls, and responding to critical issues
    • SOX Knowledge and transparency about control narratives
    • Result-oriented (ability to prioritize & delegate) and a teammate
    • Experience working within a SaaS procure-to-pay or ERP system, preferably Workday ERP and/or Concur Travel & Expense systems

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance and Accounting
    • Experience in Accounts Payable or Finance
    • Functional SME with Workday Financials and SAP Concur

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Establish and manage client relationships through regular engagement
    • Proactively identify issues or client needs and take action
    • High customer service orientation
    • Solid understanding of MS-Office, with excellent MS-Excel skills and good PowerPoint skills
