    Job Title: Culinary Director - BOH Restaurant Operations Leader

    Tovo, an internationally recognized and rapidly expanding quick-serve restaurant brand, is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Culinary Director (Executive Chef) to helm our culinary operations. Our ideal candidate will embody our commitment to sustainability and quality, fostering innovative, mouth-watering, and sustainable culinary creations across our brand while overseeing the entirety of our back-of-house operations on a global level.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Menu Development & Execution: Spearhead the development, design, and execution of our menu, ensuring a diverse range of innovative, sustainable, and delectable offerings that adhere to Tovo's brand standards and ethos.
    2. Quality Control & Safety: Oversee and ensure the highest standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene across all our international locations, implementing robust food safety protocols and regular staff training.
    3. Operational Leadership: Direct all facets of kitchen operations across the globe, ensuring operational efficiency, productivity, and impeccable service delivery in all our locations.
    4. Culinary Staff Training & Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive training program for culinary staff at all levels to uphold consistency and quality of food production, fostering talent growth and culinary excellence within our team.
    5. Supplier & Vendor Management: Forge and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers, enforcing Tovo's commitment to sustainable sourcing and procurement of top-tier ingredients.
    6. Cost Management: Strategize and manage food and labor cost controls to ensure the profitability of our operations, contributing to the company's overall financial goals and success.
    7. Innovation & Market Research: Keep a pulse on the culinary industry, innovating and implementing new sustainable dining experiences, food preparation techniques, and industry trends to maintain Tovo's standing as a pioneering force in sustainable quick-serve dining.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 5-10 years of professional culinary experience in a high-volume, high-quality culinary environment, with at least 5-7 years in a senior leadership role.
    • Proven track record of successful menu development, kitchen management, and operational oversight.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of current culinary trends, especially within the realm of sustainability and quick-serve dining.
    • Exceptional leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to manage and inspire a diverse team across multiple locations.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficient in necessary technology and software, including culinary-based systems and MS Office Suite.
    • Ability to travel as needed to oversee international operations and ensure brand consistency.
    • A degree in Culinary Arts or a related field is highly desirable.
    • Masters Degree in Food Operations & Supply Chain Management is highly desirable.
