    Job DescriptionELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN

    Clean Air Engineering, Inc. conducts thermal and hydraulic performance, emissions, and consulting projects on a world-wide basis. CleanAir provides turnkey independent testing, consulting, instrumentation rental, and custom equipment manufacturing.


    Electronics Technician Description:


    In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of precision test equipment in the CleanAir calibration lab in Powell TN.

    You will be working with a small team of engineers to ensure the reliability and efficiency of field equipment and will travel to client sites to support field projects as needed.


    Responsibilities:


    Perform equipment-related maintenance and calibration activities as directed to ensure test equipment is safe, functional, and meets internal and client expectations for accuracy and timeliness.

    Safety knowledge, awareness, and compliance with all safety and other job related policies

    Assembling, installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electronic components and systems.

    Sourcing or fabricating replacement parts for electronic systems.

    Interpreting and authoring drawings, training manuals, and instructions to perform duties.

    Following written, verbal, and telephonic instructions.

    Ship/Pack/Track domestic and international project shipments.

    Domestic and international travel will be required.

    Performs other duties as assigned.


    Education and Experience:
    Associate of Science degree with 2 years or High School diploma with 4 years of relevant experience in electronics and calibration


    Works well with basic machinery such as hand tools, wire crimpers and strippers, soldering iron, and test and measuring equipment.

    Experience with electrical assembly, understanding of diagrams, and drawings.

    Excellent verbal/written communication skills

    Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products

    Ability to lift 50lbs

    Passion for electronics

    Valid Driver's License

    Occasional weekend work will be required.
