    Description

    IT Business partner will act as a bridge between Enterprise IT Delivery Teams and Finance Business to translate business needs into IT Requirements for Solution Development and Delivery. This role will be responsible for understanding business pain points and documenting the AS-IS and TO-BE processes by leveraging their domain expertise in Financial Supply Chain Management and IT acumen.
    The IT Business Partner will collaborate with multiple Enterprise IT and cross functional teams to achieve desired business outcomes as laid out by organizational strategy.

    How you will do it:


    • Conduct Requirement gathering workshops with business stakeholders and analyze business needs and perform cost benefit analysis and recommend possible solutions.


    • Prepare Business use cases/user stories, business requirements documents (BRD), process flows, system requirements specification (SRS) documents and other functional documents relevant to the project needs.


    • Create business capability maps as per business objectives.


    • Work closely with the business and Enterprise IT teams to ensure correct understanding, modelling, and implementation of business requirements.


    • Conduct solution demos for concerned audience and solicit feedback.


    • Conduct usability and functional testing, support User Acceptance testing and recommend corrective and preventive actions.


    • Identify opportunities for process improvement leveraging technology (RPA and other similar technologies).


    • Support change management activities including testing, preparation of User Training material and conducting user trainings


    • As a member of IT organization, support multiple IT projects (E.g. ERP rollouts, enhancements, system optimization, implementation of Business Finance Applications related to Customer- Master Data, Invoicing, Collections Management, Credit Management, Cash Applications etc.,


    • Automation opportunities leveraging RPA


    • Support risk management, regulatory compliance, Information Security, and audit remediation activities as mandated by Enterprise IT Security Team.


    • Support business continuity and disaster recovery efforts, including creation of business impact analyses.


    • Should be able to establish good working relationships with key business stakeholders, subject matter experts and technical resources to identify business needs, develop requirements and propose high level solutions.


    • Participate in ideation activities to create high-level process and technology roadmaps.

    What we look for: Required


    • Demonstrated proficiency as an IT professional in conducting Business analysis and capturing AS-IS & To- BE processes specifically related to finance domain


    • Demonstrated proficiency in Order to Cash Processes specifically related to Invoicing, Collections management, Credit management and Cash management. Implementation, as an IT functional consultant, of financial accounting and management reporting module (FICO) or Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM) modules like Credit Management, Collections management, Disputes management in SAP would be an asset for this role.


    • Effective working knowledge of any of the ERPs such as SAP or Oracle is a must to have with extensive exposure to Business Finance applications related to collections, credit, and cash management like SAP FSCM, GetPaid, HighRadius, and OneStream etc.


    • Should be able to understand touchpoints for integrations between several IT applications


    • Proven ability to quickly learn new applications, processes, and procedures


    • Demonstrated prior experience in Business process mapping


    • Excellent command on both spoken and written English


    • Strong understanding of IT landscape and systems Integration architecture of large organizations


    • Should be able to collaborate across multiple functions, departments, geographies in a multi-national organization


    • Demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills using innovative thinking


    • Effective communication and presentation skills

    Preferred


    • Prior experience working in a financial shared service environment is a strong plus


    • Strong ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines


    • Strong planning and organizational skills


    • High level of abstraction, fast understanding, and conceptual thinking

    Qualifications


    • University Degree in Finance/Computer Science/Business Information Systems


    • Minimum of 12 years of overall work experience


    • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the IT finance domain
