- Support Instrumentation project activities to ensure timely completion of all project activities including engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning.
- Assist in the review of detailed engineering document of the FEED/EPC/EPCM Contractor such as MR/PR/TBE/VDR of DCS/PACKAGE PLC/MMS/ITCC including ASC, Analyzer System, Field Instrument, Document Control Index, Control narratives, Control System Architecture drawing, Electrical-Instrument Interface, Cable Schedule, Wiring Diagram, Control Room Layout (CCR), Overall FO Network Block Diagram, Instrument Air Distribution drawing, Point Database, Instrument Index, Cause & Effects (IPS & FGS), of complete plant including all packages, P&IDs, Cause & Effect, Control Narrative, Electrical Instrument interface document, Fire and Gas layout drawings, Function Logic Diagram, Field Wiring Diagram, Cable block diagram, Cable schedule & Wiring Diagrams, Control System Architecture drawing and Control system documents, Instrument data sheets.
- Review of Vendor list, MTO, scope of work, spares requirement, Vendor data, ITP, FAT/SAT procedures.
- Participation in safety studies such as PHA, Hazardous Area Classification studies, HAZOP & SIL Studies, etc. along with follow-up & close-out of study recommendations.
- Coordination for interface of Fertilizer Instrumentation system with power transmission system, interface with other facility, load management system, standardization of Instrumentation equipment, design optimization.
- Participation in equipment and material inspections, monitoring of the material dispatch, coordination with third party inspectors.
- Provide engineering support during Instrumentation equipment erection, pre-commissioning and commissioning of the plant.
- Support in developing best operational management systems with respect to Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, Social; and good engineering practices with continual improvements.
- Good knowledge of Instrumentation system and related engineering principles. Staying abreast with the emerging technologies and best practices followed in Instrumentation systems for minimizing downtime.
- Good knowledge in industrial safety, environmental standards and regulatory compliance. Ability to implement and enforce protocols and conduct risk assessments and produce reports on the findings. Skills in implementing environmentally friendly and sustainable production practices.
- Implement quality management systems and methodologies. Experience with process optimization and continual improvement techniques.
- 8+ years' experience with B.Sc./B. Tech /B.E. in Instrumentation Engineering.
- Project experience in any consulting organization for design engineering/procurement /inspection of Instrumentation equipment for any large process plant.
- Familiarity with reputed construction organizations international codes for instrumentation equipment installation.
- Experience in use of the international safety standards at construction site.
