    PositionPurpose:

    Part of Compliance hub theresource performs periodical testing checks on both the ComplianceAPAC function and APAC Business lines to ensure the efficacy ofAPAC Compliance KYC controlframework.

    Responsibilities:

    DirectResponsibilities:

    oWork with Client Management conducting period reviews of existingcustomers to confirm the information on file reconfirm customersownership structure conduct PEP/negative news and sanctions checkto ensure KYC completeness accuracy andquality/readiness.

    oProvide advice and interpretation on specific KYC compliancepolicies procedures and topics considering both the spirit andintent of applicablelaw.

    oWork closely with Country Compliance to ensure KYC reviews aresigned off and that any repairs or additional information requiredis sought in a reasonable timely manner particularly in the contextof Client Acceptance Committee (CAC) or CoordinatedCAC.

    oCollaborate with Country/Regional Compliance covering KYC to helpensure consistency in interpretation and application of existingand new regulatoryrequirements.

    oAble to quickly size KYC compliance issues (e.g. overdue/ageingfiles) and trouble spots and influence related remediationactivities including timely closure of action plans developed inresponse to adverse audits and regulatoryexaminations.

    oPerform AML/Sanction compliance control testing based on 2nd levelGroup Compliance Control Plans on the followingdomains:

    FinancialSanctions

    AntiMoney Laundering /CFT

    MarketIntegrity

    Protectionof ClientInterests

    ProfessionalEthics

    Fiscallaws and BankingRegulations

    oEscalate issues and exceptions items noted during thecontrols

    oEnsure close collaboration with the Domain Leads in the TRM teamwho are responsible for the definition of the control methodologyand accountable for the adequate execution of thecontrols.

    oCommunicate with Local and regional Compliance teams as requiredfor the execution of the controls and the presentation of theresults

    oTrack status of corrective action plans agreed with CountryCompliance

    oMaintain detailed and organised documentation of workproducts

    oCoordinate with other professionals in the organisation includingother Compliance teams asnecessary

    oAssist in special projects as needed including but not limited toproject planning and project management particularly on thecentralised KYC repository tool front. Support management withregulatory exams and Inspection Generale asneeded.

    ContributingResponsibilities

    oComply with procedure and other relevant policies/ procedures ofcompany and regulations and industry bestpractice

    oCollaborate and work in tandem with team members and relevantstakeholders

    oBe supportive and adoptive to changes of procedures and scope ofwork

    oMeet the QA requirements and the expected daily alert closurevolume

    Technical &BehavioralCompetencies:

    o ExtensiveAML/Sanction/KYC experience including subject matter expertise onall these profiles regardless of entity type and risk level. Mustbe well versed in these entity types potential risk factors and howthese plays into the AML/KYC requirements that must be fulfilledfor each entity.

    oPreferably at least 5 years of working Audit experience with 3years of AML/Sanction/KYC Compliance experience. Candidates withless experience may be considered for Regional KYC Analystposition.

    oFormal training or qualification in AML/Sanction/KYC would bebeneficial.

    oSound understanding of AML/Sanction/KYC principals and be wellversed in Asia Pacific EUlandscapes.

    oAble to move to and from different clients (and therefore differentrequirement scenarios) reports and projects throughout the daywhich requires a high degree of flexibility and strongprioritizationskills.

    oMust have strong interpersonal skills a flexible collaborative andteamoriented approach to problemsolving and an ability to work in afastpaced rapidly changing environment and preferably with someexperience of dealing in multiple countries in AsiaPacific.

    oHave extensive research skills to aid in establishing and/orvalidating required information anddocumentation.

    oAbility to work in a team as well asindependently

    oGood communication skills and eager tolearn

    oAn ability to write concisely and clearly; and to produce clearconstructive advice under pressure and within shorttimeframes.

    oMust be proficient with Microsoft Excel and other MicrosoftOffice.

    Specific Qualifications(if required)

    oICA or ACAMS equivalent Certifications ispreferred.

    oBachelors degree or higher from an accreditedinstitution

    oAudit experience or qualifications in finance oraccounting.
