Job summary
The Information Security Engineer is responsible for evaluating and implementing security tools to protect the company's information assets. The role involves developing cyber security standards and monitoring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.We are looking for a skilled engineer who will lead our security strategy and oversee our risk management program. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our systems are secure from threats such as data breaches or malware attacks.
Key Responsibilities include: Evaluating testing integrating security tools standards associated processes as per the security framework Developing cyber security standards incorporating industry practices applicable compliance requirements Monitoring reporting compliance with cyber security standards rules of relevant privacy requirements Improving appsec processes incorporating static analysis runtime testing tools preparing SBOM inventory vulnerabilities performing periodic internal VAPT assessments infra apps Creating managing process guide development QA teams proactively finding application sec risks Improving maintaining secure development stand leading integration of practices into SDLC Supporting application architecture/design review processes whenever expertise needed Assist creating managing framework alignment industry best practices ISO 27001 Improve cyberspace governance including risk reporting recommending new formats collaborating team members build-out reports/dashboards Oversee third-party risk mgmt program assess risks usage vendors Conduct penetration services closure open risks actively following up stakeholders Assess design threat models document potential vectors recommend controls address Maintain sec risk register track identified metrics report state prog/state risk status Additional responsibilities Recommend cybersecurity assessment methodology support purple team exercises when required Assess cloud sec risk recommending appropriate controls Assist imparting sec awareness training executing phishing simulation Track report metrics higher mgmt reg basis Define hardening tech assess compliance levels Identify prioritize track incidents manage related platforms SIEM DLP EDR CNAAP other tools Key Areas Application cloud evaluating implementing (SIEM DLP endpoint protection) reviews assessment preparation checklist ISO 27001 governance awareness/phishing simulation Certifications good have CEH CCSP CISSP Experience Should years experience domain minimum years appsec Must sound knowledge remediation mitigation techniques Ability document explain technical details concise manner Industry recognized certificates desired Lead complex projects problem-solving initiatives Passionate update knowledge support org Candidates excellent verbal written skills Explain all OWASP Top discuss effective defensive techniques Familiarity industry regulations including PCI ISO27001 CIS NIST Good understanding Docker Kubernetes models Fair public cloud models AWS Google Microsoft Azure implications
