Role Summary

PackTHC is seeking a Senior Social Media Manager with deep expertise in Instagram, TikTok, and paid social growth for the US market. This is a strategy + execution + leadership role, not a basic posting job.

You will own all major social media platforms end-to-end driving growth, managing Meta Ads, leading content direction, and leveraging trends to build brand authority and conversions in the US cannabis-adjacent space.

Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Strategy & Ownership

• Own and manage Instagram, TikTok, and all major social media platforms end-to-end
• Develop and execute a US-market-focused social media growth strategy
• Drive brand awareness, engagement, traffic, and conversions
• Ensure platform-specific content strategies (Reels, TikTok, Shorts, Stories)

Instagram & TikTok Expertise (Core Requirement)

• Expert in Instagram and TikTok growth mechanics
• Leverage trends, audios, formats, hooks, and timing to maximize reach
• Create and guide high-performing short-form video strategies
• Understand US audience behavior and content consumption patterns

Paid Social & Meta Ads (Mandatory)

• Plan, execute, and optimize Meta Ads (Instagram & Facebook)
• Manage full-funnel campaigns: Awareness → Engagement → Conversions
• Analyze and optimize CTR, CPM, CPC, ROAS, and creative performance
• Ensure compliance with platform policies for cannabis-adjacent brands

Content Direction & Team Guidance

• Lead and guide designers, editors, and content creators
• Provide clear creative briefs, content direction, and feedback
• Maintain brand tone, visual consistency, and messaging
• Convert trends into brand-safe, conversion-focused content

Analytics, Reporting & Optimization

• Track and analyze platform performance weekly and monthly
• Identify what's working, what's not, and why
• Continuously optimize content and ads based on data and insights
• Share actionable growth recommendations with leadership

Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in social media management
• Expert-level mastery of Instagram & TikTok
• Proven experience managing all major social media platforms
• Strong expertise in Meta Ads & paid social performance
• Solid understanding of US market, trends, and audience behavior
• Ability to work independently with full ownership and accountability
• Experience in DTC, eCommerce, or brand-led businesses

Good to Have (Strong Advantage)

• Experience with US cannabis / CBD / cannabis-adjacent brands
• Knowledge of Shopify, DTC funnels, and social commerce
• Influencer marketing and creator collaboration experience
• Familiarity with content compliance and ad restrictions
