Roles and Responsibilities

• Work autonomously by taking ownership of assigned deliverables with a strong focus on quality
• Demonstrate self-motivation, proactive communication, and effective teamwork
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues proactively to stakeholders, team leads, and project managers
• Follow defined development workflows and ensure project KPIs are met
• Gain and apply application, business, functional, and technical knowledge relevant to Calypso solutions
• Design and develop software solutions by analyzing business requirements, system flows, data usage, and work processes
• Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and identify optimal technical solutions
• Investigate problem areas and apply best practices across the software development lifecycle
• Prepare and maintain high-quality technical and functional documentation
• Participate in and facilitate peer reviews to ensure quality and consistency of deliverables
• Implement and enhance DevOps processes for application build and deployment
• Perform performance optimization activities including Java application profiling and Oracle database tuning when required
• Provide accurate effort estimations, identify risks and mitigation plans, and escalate issues appropriately
• Continuously update technical and functional knowledge by learning new tools, techniques, and technologies
• Participate in technical and functional training and knowledge-sharing sessions organized by the company

Job Requirements

• Strong experience as a Calypso Developer in financial services environments
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and best practices
• Experience with Java-based application development and Oracle databases
• Exposure to DevOps practices for build, deployment, and release management
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
• Strong communication skills with a proactive and quality-focused mindset
