    Overview:

    The PaintShopSupervisor is a critical role within our organization responsiblefor overseeing and coordinating all activities within the paintshop. This position plays a key role in ensuring the quality andefficiency of the paint process as well as leading and motivating ateam of painters ensuring safety and compliance at alltimes.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • Supervise train andmentor paint shop employees
    • Oversee the mixingand application of paint
    • Monitor and maintaininventory of paint supplies andequipment
    • Ensure compliance with safetyregulations and protocols
    • Implement andmaintain quality control measures
    • Collaboratewith production planning to meetdeadlines
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues inthe paint process
    • Coordinate with maintenancefor equipment repairs and maintenance
    • Manageand optimize the use of paint materials
    • Preparereports on paint shop activities andperformance
    • Conduct regular inspections andaudits of the paint shop area
    • Drive continuousimprovement initiatives
    • Manage budget andexpenses for the paint shop
    • Participate inhiring and performance evaluations
    • Ensureadherence to environmentalregulations

    RequiredQualifications:

    • High school diplomaor equivalent; Bachelor s degree in a related fieldpreferred
    • Proven experience in paintapplication and mixing
    • Previous supervisory orleadership experience
    • Strong knowledge of paintshop operations and equipment
    • Familiarity withsafety and environmental regulations
    • Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills
    • Abilityto prioritize and manage multipletasks
    • Detailoriented with a focus on qualityand efficiency
    • Problemsolving anddecisionmaking abilities
    • Proficient in MSOffice and paint shop software
    • Ability to liftand move heavy objects as needed
    • Willingness towork flexible hours as required
    • Certificationin paint application or related field is aplus
    • Strong understanding of color theory andpaint matching
    • Knowledge of lean manufacturingprinciples
