    Job Description

    The Corporate Treasury Liquidity Risk Management Governance team is seeking a highly motivated individual with financial services experience to support liquidity risk management governance and control processes. The Liquidity Risk Management team is responsible for identifying, measuring, managing, and controlling existing and emerging liquidity risk and reporting to senior management, the Board of Directors and regulators. The Governance team within Liquidity Risk Management is responsible for promoting effective design and execution of governance and control routines compliant with applicable policies and regulations to mitigate financial reporting risk. This position will play a key role in maintaining consistent, efficient, and quality implementation and execution of control and documentation standards to support the group's compliance with the Company's policies and procedures, and regulatory guidelines.

    The successful candidate will be a proven leader with strong familiarity with financial institutions and the COSO framework, an excellent communicator and self-starter accustomed to working in complex organizations, partnering with a diverse group of stakeholders, and achieving results. Additionally, the candidate should be able to work independently, be highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks.

    Specific responsibilities of this position include:
    • Partner with managers and analysts within the group to evaluate and escalate, as appropriate, financial reporting, risk reporting, or disclosure matters as well as manage issues through the issue lifecycle.
    • Lead implementation of components of the Company's Regulatory and Risk Reporting Governance and Oversight Framework over processes used to develop key liquidity risk and regulatory reports and disclosures.
    • Partner with risk managers to author and maintain the liquidity risk management principles and methodologies document, contingency funding plan, and liquidity risk procedures documents.
    • Assist with development of liquidity risk management related reports for the Risk Committee of the Board of Directors, the liquidity risk management governing committees, and other management teams as needed.
    • Perform liquidity risk management governing committee secretary responsibilities to assist with committee administration and recordkeeping to meet the Company's Committees policy and procedures requirements.
    • Develop and maintain control procedures and training to promote consistent implementation and execution of control standards across liquidity risk reporting and disclosure processes including with respect to models and end user computing tools.
    • Author and review liquidity governance and capabilities content for the company's resolution and recovery planning processes.
    • Participate in issue validation, QA, Business COSO, internal audit, regulatory exams and other independent reviews by aiding and coordinating with managers and analysts within the group to respond to information requests and questions as well as by assisting with developing a response to feedback, as needed.
    • Identify and improve inefficient or ineffective internal control or issue management processes.
    • Prepare additional ad-hoc analyses, business presentations and complete special projects as needed within tight deadlines.
    • Build strong relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to drive results.
    • Comfortable with responsibilities which may evolve over time.
    Required Qualifications
    • 10+ years finance experience.
    Desired Qualifications
    • A qualified chartered accountant or higher in finance, accounting, or economics
    • Ability to successfully operate in a complex and matrixed environment
    • Strong knowledge and understanding of internal controls, particularly internal controls over financial reporting
    • Experience within audit, regulatory compliance, or risk management
    • Ability to take initiative, work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment
    • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
    • Strong collaboration and partnering skills
    Other Desired Qualifications
    • 7+ years of experience in auditing, accounting, financial reporting, or internal control functions; public accounting experience and or Audit certification preferred
    • Experience with governance and oversight requirements for regulatory and risk reporting
    • Experience in bank capital or liquidity analysis including capital and/or liquidity stress testing
    • Experience with large financial institutions
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
    • Attention to detail while maintaining a big picture orientation
    • Strong understanding of the COSO framework
