    Description

    Job Description: Corporate F&B Controller

    Location: Mumbai, India

    CTC: Up to 25 LPA

    Experience: 5-15 years

    Industry: Multi-Brand Restaurant Business

    Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Corporate F&B Controller to join our multi-brand restaurant business based in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food and beverage cost control within known restaurant chains and hotels. This role is responsible for managing, analyzing, and overseeing financial aspects related to food and beverage operations across multiple brands.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Cost Control: Develop and implement effective cost-control strategies for food and beverage operations across all restaurant brands to optimize profitability.
    2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in creating annual budgets and monthly forecasts for F&B operations. Monitor variances and recommend corrective actions.
    3. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory processes, ensuring accurate stock tracking and control. Implement best practices for reducing waste and managing stock levels.
    4. Supplier Management: Collaborate with purchasing teams to negotiate favorable contracts and pricing with suppliers, ensuring cost efficiency.
    5. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular financial reports on F&B costs, revenue, and profitability. Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    6. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, health, and safety standards, as well as internal company policies.
    7. Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to restaurant managers and staff on cost-control practices and financial management.
    8. Operational Support: Work closely with operations teams to align financial objectives with business strategies. Provide insights to support decision-making and operational improvements.
    9. Cost-Saving Initiatives: Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within F&B operations. Develop and implement initiatives to achieve these goals.
    10. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other corporate functions, including HR, marketing, and operations, to ensure cohesive business strategies.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
    • 5-15 years of experience in food and beverage cost control, preferably within known restaurant chains or hotels.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
    • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Experience with multi-brand or multi-unit operations is highly desirable.
    • Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in food and beverage operations.
