    Consultant - API Automation EngineerWe are seeking an experienced API Automation Engineer with a strong background in Java and expertise in API automation using Rest Assured and JMeter.

    The ideal candidate should have prior experience working in the financial domain.
    Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for API testing using Java and Rest Assured framework.
    • Design and execute performance tests using JMeter to ensure API reliability and scalability.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand API requirements and design appropriate test scenarios.
    • Identify, report, and track defects in the API application and work with the development team to resolve them.
    • Continuously improve and optimize API testing processes and strategies.
    • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
    • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in API testing and automation.
    QualificationsMinimum qualifications we seek in you

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
    • Proven experience in API automation using Java and Rest Assured.
    • Strong expertise in performance testing using JMeter.
    • Previous experience working in the financial domain is highly desirable.
    • Proficiency in test case design, execution, and defect management.
    • Knowledge of API security testing and best practices.
    • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems.
